Senior Architect (Project Leads)

We are seeking experienced and motivated Senior Architects/Project Leads to manage architectural projects from Schematic Design to Contract Administration. Successful completion of projects is achieved through developing a clear understanding of Client requirements and actively managing the operational aspects of Hillam Architects’ architectural projects, including project team staff, programme, budget, and deliverables on delegated projects.

What we are looking for

• 6 – 10 + years post graduate
• Experience within Australia
• Experience in project: Initiation, Planning, Client & Authorities Liaison, Execution, Monitoring, Controlling and Closing.
• Experience in contract admin
• Experience in managing or mentoring others
• Experience in at least one area of the following:
  • Multi-residential, residential, hotel, student accommodation, build to rent, townhouses, carbon neutral and highly rated energy buildings, commercial or fit out.

Design Architect

We are seeking a motivated and talented Design Architect who will be responsible for the delivering quality schematic design on architectural projects including external renders and building layouts; developing clear understanding of Client requirements; successful completion of the project design which has met or exceeded Client expectations.

What we are looking for

• 3 to 5 years post graduate experience
• Experience in Front End, Schematic, Briefing, Design, Presentation, Communication, BIM Implementation, Documentation, Review
• Experience with Client and Authorities liaison, Project team management
• Experience in at least one area of the following:
  • Multi-residential, residential, hotel, student accommodation, build to rent, townhouses, carbon neutral and highly rated energy buildings, commercial or fit out.
