Edge Visionary Living has welcomed first residents to its six-level, $80 million Botanical apartments in Price Street, Subiaco, with 65 of the 74 apartments sold.
Edge managing director Gavin Hawkins said the project, with 20 different apartment types, was launched two years ago in a subdued market, and had been “a remarkable success”.
Built by Jaxon and designed by Hillam Architects, it borders the Subiaco Common Park, which has a lake, in the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority’s Australian Fine China Precinct. It overlooks a park, playground and lake and is walking distance to Subiaco station.
Residents have rooftop amenities including a 25m infinity swimming pool, a gym, sauna and steam room, yoga retreat and multiple outdoor dining facilities, as well as rooftop cinema and a dining-entertainment-function room.
Botanical has added the green theme with vertical trellises on the facade, designer planter boxes on all balconies and a landscaped internal atrium that brings light and ventilation into the building.
Mr Hawkins said most of the buyers were from the local area and all were intending to be owner-occupiers “creating a wonderful community atmosphere”.
